Finding the best mud tires for your four wheel drive involves more than a trip to the local tire store. On this page you will discover what we consider to be the three best mud tires available and why we consider them to be the best.
When deciding which tires will be right for your truck some things to consider are:
- Traction – Can your tire keep you on top of the mud?
- Flotation and steering – While driving through the mud can you steer or are you at the mercy of your truck?
- Cleaning – Do your tires get a good bite with each turn?
- Distance – Are you crawling through the mud or do your tires help your truck to jump right into the middle of a big mud hole?
While you are entitled to your own opinion about which mud tires will get you into and out of the mud the best. The tires that we have crowned best have been tested in the mud and on the rocks they went over and under the mud like the champions that they are. Each of the following tires along with a few others were mounted on the same vehicle, driven over the same trails and through the same mud holes, by the same person. These are the three the came out on top.
